STOP 1: Downtown Fort Valley
From Lane Orchards, turn RIGHT onto US-341.
Drive approximately 5 miles north into downtown Fort Valley.

STOP 2: Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge
From Fort Valley, take GA-49 north.
Turn LEFT onto GA-18 toward Juliette.
Watch for refuge signage and enter via Round Oak-Juliette Road.
Explore designated gravel roads only.

STOP 3: Juliette
Exit refuge toward Juliette Road.
Follow signs into downtown Juliette (approximately 10–15 minutes).
Park near the depot and river bridge area.

Optional STOP 4: Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park
From Juliette, take GA-87 south toward Macon (about 25 minutes).
Climb the Great Temple Mound and capture a final scenic photo.

• Refuge roads are easy gravel but can become slick after rain.
• Stay on marked refuge roads — no off-trail driving.
• Cell service may be limited inside the refuge.
• Best seasons: Spring blooms, summer peach harvest, fall colors.
